Sessions

Sessions take place on our two-acre farm away from the distractions of city life. HART'S HAVEN refers to the beautiful property and the equine encounters that take place here. It is a happy and healing place, a peaceful and safe haven for anyone who comes to hang out with Murdock and Sierra, and to engage in enlightening and uplifting encounters with them.

The Equine Guides, Murdock and Sierra, are magnificent creatures – capable of a lot more than we give them credit for. They are kind, intelligent, insightful, honest, funny and compassionate. They have the ability to tune into where we are and mirror our behavior - emotional, mental and energetic. They communicate non-verbally and have the gift to bond deeply. They love being and working with people of all ages (including children) and especially enjoy making us laugh.

Each session is different and unique because the horses respond to everyone differently depending on what's happening with you at this particular time in your life. In a typical session we'll take the horses to the arena and let them go free, where we spend time with them - observing, grooming, standing or sitting with them or talking to them. Sometimes we walk with them. It is hard to describe what happens between these horses and humans. The only way I can explain it is that you bring who you are on that day, in that moment and they bring their perception of you and reflect it back to you. It is a personal experience that can improve your self perception and overall wellbeing. This work is honest, straightforward and can be life changing.

No riding takes place, and no previous experience with horses is required.

2 hour - $145

Pre-school through 8^th grade
Accompamied by parent
1 hour - $40
